Baby comforters or 'snuggies' are great as a "welcome to the world" gift for a preemie baby. They are particularly important for preemies and Mummies who are supplying milk.
Quite often a little preemie will have two comforters, one snuggie comforts baby whilst Mummy keeps another close to her skin at all times. At night time Mummy and baby swap snuggies so that baby is comforted by the smell of Mummy and Mummy's breasts are stimulated by the comforting smell of baby.
